Facing the end of a lease at its fixed location in San Jose, California, and anticipating an expensive search for a new business site, Contour Haircare Center decided to take its hair styling services to its clients. Purchasing a 30-foot custom Winnebago RV unit from RV Commercial in early 2000, the company now provides a complete mobile salon for as many as four clients at once. Business has been so successful that Contour Haircare Center is planning for the purchase of up to two additional mobile RV units in the next year.
